Three Little Pitties Rescue is a non profit dog and cat rescue looking to hire kennel techs.
MUST BE AGE 18+
This kennel tech position provides an exciting opportunity to further education in animal care and behavior. We are searching for an attentive, empathetic kennel tech to oversee the safety and well-being of the animals in our care. The responsibilities include cleaning kennels, yards, walking the animals on property, and providing animals with their daily necessities. Kennel techs are also relied on to report any behavioral or physical changes to our behavior team or medical.
To ensure success as a kennel tech, you should be able to anticipate and tend to the needs of animals. This is a fast-paced physical job that is mainly outdoors. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Job Responsibilities
- Walking animals to and from kennels.
- Accompanying animals on their daily walks.
- Ensuring that the animals have ample fresh bedding and water at all times.
- Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from the kennels.
- Disposing of trash in a timely manner.
- Grooming, playing with and administering treatment to animals, if directed by medical staff.
- Providing daily enrichment to animals.
- Power washing barns and cages.
- Maintaining common areas of the property.
- Adjusting the kennels to ensure that the animals remain comfortable.
Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday each week 7am to 6pm shift (10 hour shift)
- Weekends as needed
