Job Summary
The Change Management Lead is responsible for leading the Engineering Change Management process, ensuring timely delivery of change activities aligned with program goals and customer expectations. This role manages planning, resource assignment, and performance monitoring across all engineering programs. As the key driver of Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, the Lead ensures compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements, serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders. The role also focuses on minimizing business impact, managing change-related risks, and leveraging data-driven analysis and root cause methodologies to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.

- Manage change activities across the product and program lifecycle to ensure alignment with business objectives and on-time delivery.
- Lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage communications to ensure effective decision-making and compliance with internal and customer requirements.
- Communicate directly with OEMs and customer teams to manage change authorizations and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Assign and supervise resources responsible for executing change management activities, ensuring adequate support for program needs.
- Oversee team performance to meet defined plans, goals, and performance standards.
- Develop and continuously improve management processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and responsiveness.
- Monitor and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of change management activities.
- Track change activity and generate reports at the program, product, and organizational levels to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate daily with engineering personnel to ensure timely execution of assigned change-related tasks.
- Manage and escalate actions resulting from CCB reviews to ensure timely closure and accountability.
- Enhance and maintain tools and systems used to support change management execution and reporting.
- Conduct cross-functional impact analyses, facilitate stakeholder input, and communicate outcomes to relevant teams.
- Analyze and mitigate risks through quantitative and qualitative assessments, tracking progress in risk reduction.
- Review trend changes periodically and lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities with the Design Engineering team.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Protect the confidentiality of the company’s information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role at a similar level of responsibility.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Established expertise in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and managing risks in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Experience managing change within an AS9100-compliant aerospace environment.
- Lean and Six Sigma certification with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proven management or supervisory experience, leading teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Extended or irregular hours may be required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
