We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Stability Laboratory Technologist to join our fantastic team at our Parsippany, NJ location. In this role, you will be responsible for stability experimentation in support of MANE product and technologies development. Provides technical solutions to routine problems while developing formulating skills and knowledge. Provide guidance and assistance in sourcing and recommending solutions based on category strategies. Work is limited to established product categories.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates and Maintains Testing Instrumentation:
- Preparation and documentation of samples.
- Storage and retrieval of samples.
- Evaluation of samples.
- High level involvement with Evaluation, Perfumery and R&D for technical assessment of fragrances in specific product categories.
- Maintenance and Calibration of all test equipment
- Can perform microscopy studies and assist in thermal analyses.
- Oversee and maintain the operation of instrumentation including troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
- Experimental Design and Test Methodology:
- Assist in the creation of experimental design
- Helps Create Test Methodologies that document the steps necessary to obtain data that is useful to the fragrance business.
- Assists in the review of scientific, governmental, or other literature in order to maintain
- Analyzes all Test Data and Issues Reports:
- Recording of data and report writing
- Input into the GPMS systems, prioritization of projects and Project Management of specific product categories.
- Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives.
- Follow up on all challenge projects. Check deadlines and stay in contact with evaluation/perfumery.
- Provides accurate project data to manager for the monthly Stability/KPI report as needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to interpret outcome of experiments and to propose appropriate follow-up experiments.
- Communicates own work effectively orally and in writing.
- Contributes and/or prepares protocols, testing procedures and technical reports.
- Reports and treats data with a high level of integrity and ethics.
- Thoroughly and accurately documents experimental activities and analyses in computer, log book, and/or laboratory notebook.
- Collaborate with colleagues regarding study design and problem solving.
- Additional Roles/Responsibilities:
- Contact with customers as needed
- Routine Fragrance Evaluation
- Assistance in DoE for Raw Material Studies utilizing Fragrance
- Interacts with:
- All internal departments.
- All customers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Scientific/Technical studies
- 3-5 years in fragrance, personal care, or household product company in a laboratory setting
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Strong written and oral skills.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to differentiate various odors and colors.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $72,000. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, and applicable legal considerations. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is awarded based on both individual and company performance.
