Summary

This position is responsible for all event related set-ups and teardowns to include moving tables, chairs, rental equipment, and other items that are needed for a successful event. Perform various basic repair duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work to ensure event/room set-ups are completed accurately, safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect the facility and report any maintenance or housekeeping concerns to Operations Coordinator
  • Ability to perform various basic repair duties as assigned.
  • Post directional signs for events as needed and assigned.
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Vacuum carpets, removes stains, etc.
  • Provide event parking assistance.
  • Maintains public areas, parking lots, loading docks, service corridors and storage rooms in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

  • Must work with guests, patrons, and other employees courteously.
  • Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule under diverse conditions and according to sometimes stringent time schedules.
  • Ability to perform various basic repair duties as assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Applicant desired to possess a current, valid driver’s license and a current working home telephone with a number that can be accessed by building management personnel for business contact purposes.
