We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our growing team! This role is essential in managing employee records, HR policies, and payroll functions, ensuring compliance and supporting a positive workplace culture. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Human Resource Coordinator

In this role, you will:

  • Manage Employee Data: Enter and update new hires, pay rate changes, and termination information in HR systems.
  • Assist with Recruitment: Review applications and resumes, evaluate applicant qualifications, and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Advise on HR Policies: Guide managers, supervisors, and employees on company HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle Payroll & Records Management: Assist with payroll-related inquiries, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with HR regulations.
  • Support Employment Transactions: Provide consultation on transfers, promotions/demotions, reductions-in-force, placements, and independent contractor status.
  • Coordinate Employee Recognition Programs: Oversee and ensure adherence to Employee Recognition Guidelines for staff events and appreciation initiatives.
  • Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Prepare, monitor, and maintain personnel and risk management files, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Perform Administrative HR Functions: Compose confidential correspondence, prepare spreadsheets, and handle data entry.
  • Interpret & Enforce Policies: Explain company policies, employment laws, and workplace regulations to managers and employees.


What Makes You a Great Fit

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive HR matters.
  • Is proficient in HR software, data entry, and reporting systems.
  • Understands federal and state labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team.
