Our client, a leading technology provider, is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be part of the End User Services department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Longmont, Colorado (Onsite Only)

Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hr

What's the Job?

  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Research, install, and troubleshoot all aspects of laptop and desktop hardware and associated software.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interfacing directly with users to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform hardware repairs and replacements, coordinating with external vendors as necessary.
  • Manage the ticket queue in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution according to established SLAs.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a desktop support role.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS, including mobile platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
  • Experience with Active Directory and maintaining data integrity and file system security.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
