Job Summary
As a Data Analyst supporting Reliability & Maintainability (R&M), you will play a critical role in enhancing the reliability and performance of our aircraft fleet. You will analyze operational, maintenance, and CirrusIQ data to identify trends, failure modes, and areas for improvement. Your work will directly support the engineering team by enabling data-driven decisions that improve aircraft systems, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. A key part of your role will be to develop, implement, and continuously improve processes that leverage data to drive reliability improvements across the fleet.

Duties And Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze operational, maintenance and field service data from aircraft to identify reliability trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed reliability reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Support Development, implementation and maintenance reliability programs to enhance aircraft performance and safety.
- Support root cause analysis on system and component failures, recommending corrective actions and improvements.
- Provide data analysis expertise and data-driven insights to maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop effective maintenance strategies and schedules.
- Collect and manage data from aircraft sensors, maintenance records, and flight logs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for analysis and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for improving aircraft systems and components based on field data.
- Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
- Ensure all reliability and maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to the development and implementation of safety policies.
- Create and update technical manuals, guidelines, and procedures related to aircraft reliability and maintenance.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to address reliability issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including airline operators, regulatory bodies, and suppliers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft reliability, data analysis or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and reliability modeling techniques (Statistical process control, fault tree analysis, Weibull tree analysis, etc)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, SQL).
