Position Summary

Reporting to the HR Manager the HR/Harvest Administrator will be responsible for the accurate and timely daily scheduling of employees and payroll processing.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong attention to detail and will be able to manage multiple competing priorities. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can proactively work to solve unprecedented operational changes.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collect and audit timecards for hourly employees daily, for weekly payroll processing
  • Import and export time in ADP and Attendance on Demand.
  • Communicate with HR department on employee time off requests.
  • Receive and review employee complaints and ensure accurate and timely documentation of concerns or issues. Facilitate actions to document and resolve employee issues, escalating to HR and management team.
  • Support HR department with the weekly payroll process for Harvest employees. Identify, process and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all payroll practices are in accordance with the state and federal labor laws, including company policies.
  • Maintain employee records, filing and documentation in accordance with State, Federal and local regulations.
  • Assist with employee orientations.
  • Ability to enforce company policies.
  • Filing, answering phone calls and taking detailed messages.
  • Supports HR department in all engagement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma is required. Some college is preferred.
  • One (1) year of related experience in human resources or payroll is required. Candidates with a bachelors’ degree may substitute their degree for the one (1) year of required experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, read and write) is required.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proven ability to work in a team setting as well as independently is required.
  • Intermediate skill level with Outlook Email, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • High level of integrity and trust, with strong ethics and values is required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel is required.
  • Ability to work long days/ hours as required by the business during peak season, weekends and holidays as needed by the business is required.

The pay for this role in the state of CA is $19.00 - $21.00/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
