Join AZAD as a Database Administrator to serve as the application administrator, analyst, and technical expert for the Fleet Management organization's Enterprise Asset Management system. This position will monitor the system, verifying that it is operational and effectively supports system users in the completion of daily operations. This position will support, facilitate and assist with testing system enhancements and the implementation of new or upgraded system functionality. In collaboration with agency subject matter experts, org management, end users and other internal clients, this position will interview, research, analyze, develop / draft and recommend new, revised and improved automated processes and business procedures and practices designed to meet the standards and requirements of Fleet Management programs.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is onsite in Vancouver, Washington and the hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Minimum Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information/Computer Technology, Business Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience is required
With an applicable Associate's degree, 7 years of experience is required
Without an applicable degree, 9 years of experience is required.
Experience should include work experience with computer/information technology systems, preferably performing Database Administration.
3 years of experience conceptualizing and planning initiatives for data integration, gathering information, and performing business systems.
Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software.
Expert proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, charting and reporting.
Preferred
Fleet Management & Maintenance/utility industry experience.
Knowledge of building/maintaining workflow data systems with automated notifications.
Advanced knowledge of MS Access database design and administration.
Skilled in data analysis and reporting, especially defining reporting needs and constructing ad hoc reports.
Ability to develop actionable recommendations on system and process improvements regarding data storage and analytic systems.
Experience providing operational support for project management, data analysis and management, and business analysis.
