Development and facilitation of the TEACH and MI Facilitator Courses as a Master Trainer. Assist in development and review of VA-DHA health promotion & prevention initiatives and in the development of a collaborative deliverables related to VA and DHA.

Job Summary
Development and facilitation of the TEACH and MI Facilitator Courses as a Master Trainer. Assist in development and review of VA-DHA health promotion & prevention initiatives and in the development of a collaborative deliverables related to VA and DHA.
Responsibilities
- Develop DHA version of T.E.A.C.H. & MI curriculum and deliver using mixed digital and in-person education and training platforms currently available through DHA to include (but not limited to) DHA Academy, JKO and VCLASS.
- Develop a 5-year training plan that encompasses new site trainings
- Co-facilitate existing sites expanding training into MTF HP, AFWCs and Primary Care Teams.
- Assists with the establishing training calendar, coordinates with program managers and training presenters.
- Facilitates training sessions as needed.
- Provide monthly status reports.
- Schedules training sessions, provides registration support and communicates with participants.
- Manages training website and documentation, creating and distributing completion certificates.
- Monitors facilitator annual requirement status.
- Reviews, edits, formats and synthesizes various types of input (verbal, notes, emails, drafts) into a cohesive document or correspondence in accordance with the military correspondence manuals and other format policies.
- Provides ongoing support and enhancement and establishes best practices for program metrics.
- Ability to travel to provide in-person training on behalf of the government.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, computer science or related field and eight years or more of experience, including experience designing and implementing training for adult learners; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
- Experience training, assessing, and certifying staff in diverse areas of learning.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint collaboration and content management software.
- Experience providing program evaluation and/or performance management support.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience with military technical documents including point papers, policies, and messages, and working in military environment preferred.
- Must have strong relationship building, influencing and consultation skills and be able to establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients.
- Strong analytical problem solving, priority setting, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and lead through influence to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.
- Excellent understanding of knowledge management and document control, update processes and tools.
- Ability to obtain CHES certification.
