NCG develops tooling and automated platforms to support its professional services practices and is in the process of deploying a SaaS platform that will make some of its tooling available to broader markets. We have an internal development team that develops, maintains, and continuously improves our automation.

Opportunity Description

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven education and training professional that enjoys working with business and technical subject areas. NCG has developed educational and training materials for clients as part of its services offerings. We are now looking to deepen those capabilities with content and approaches focused on developing skills and capabilities with new personnel. In addition to traditional course and content development, we seek to further develop our micro and distance learning channels through our automation tools both internally and with clients.

NCG has active pro bono activities with universities and high schools focused on data, technology, security, and responsibility. To further support these efforts, we are looking to expand our current instructional content and develop more interactive and progressive development capabilities.

This position will drive content development and delivery efforts working with our professional services and technical teams to curate materials and design and implement delivery capabilities. Delivery capabilities will span in-person methods to a range of technology and interactive functions.

A successful candidate will be a key part of our dynamic team of Management and Technology advisors and consultants. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is adept at developing educational and training approaches and content and is looking for opportunities to explore and delver new engagement approaches to develop and continuously improve professional skills and capabilities.

Role Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing professional development content and delivery methods supporting learning and skill development for a range of learner backgrounds and starting points. The candidate will be comfortable with business processes and technology subject areas and able to engagement with NCG subject matter experts Team Members to support client deliverables. Specific areas of responsibility are:

  • Develop curriculum paths for professional skill development
  • Develop micro and distance learning frameworks to support up front skill development activities
  • Develop original content based on source materials and dialogue with other NCG Team Members and client engagement
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze technical information to support content development and editing
  • Design and implement learning delivery mechanisms through NCG’s technology platforms collaboratively with NCG subject matter experts


Qualifications Sought

This role requires experience with development of learning approaches with a range of learner starting points in business process and technology subject areas. The role requires the ability to understand a range of professional and business topics and develop educational and training materials to engage and support professional skill development and progression. The role requires experience in developing educational methods that work together to develop broad and aligned leaning objectives.

Specifically, the role requires the following elements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Technical or Creative Writing, or related field
  • Curriculum and educational material development.
  • Training and educational content delivery.
  • Ability to breakdown complex concepts into educational and training components and organize them into progressively development sequences.
  • Personal project and task management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
