Position Summary
The Assistant, Global Brand Experience & Events will work with the Brand Experience & Events team to conceptualize and execute a wide range of Global and Regional experiences, events and initiatives, maintaining industry and consumer perception of Calvin Klein as a leading lifestyle brand and in line with seasonal Marketing priorities.
In addition to Global projects this role will specialize in and directly support experiential marketing initiatives for our International Regions and JV Partners and the development of scalable seasonal Global Directives and Toolkits.
The role will provide assistance as it relates to departmental administrative needs.

Pay Range:$50,800---$73,500

Position Summary

The role will provide assistance as it relates to departmental administrative needs.
Responsibilities
- Directly support Global Brand Experience & Events team with preparation, planning and execution of assigned Global experiences and events.
- Detailed research in support of and specific to designated projects and launches.
- Production support from concept stages through to execution. Responsibilities to include: scheduling, research and sourcing, venue scouting, agency and vendor management, entertainment, catering, visual and décor, invites and collateral, check-in logistics, on-site event execution, set-up and breakdown for events; as well as general organization of event materials (staff uniforms, iPad, etc.).
- Assist with creating internal and external decks (e.g. research, event concepts and proposals, agency RFPs, etc.) and creative briefs. Oversee post-event recaps.
- Keep actively abreast of and inform through weekly reports of cultural and industry happenings across culture verticals (fashion, music, entertainment, art, sports, tech, etc.), live events and experiences, industry collaborations, and emerging trends.
- Maintain and upkeep an ongoing list of agencies, venues, restaurants, industry creatives, etc. in New York City and key markets.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal cross-functional CK departments and external partners, offering clear and timely communication.
- Function as a self-starter with a solution-oriented approach across all responsibilities. Actively contribute to creative brainstorms based on marketing strategy, brand experience strategy, and program objectives.
- Actively assist on stewardship and Global feedbacks, planning aspects for Region & JV Partner events and experiences.
- Directly contribiute to development and distribution of innovative and scalable seasonal Global event directives and toolkits for Region and Licensee partners.
- Lead orgaziation process and maintain Regions & Licensee materials for seasonal event submissions, as well as cross-channel distribution.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with Region & JV Partner counterparts.
- Assist creation of leadership review materials.
- Support with scheduling, agenda development, and meeting notes and recaps for recurring check-ins with Region & JV partner counterparts.
- Work with the Sr. Director and Sr. Manager of Brand Experience & Events on administrative duties including event related travel plans and appointment scheduling.
- Develop and distribute meeting agendas and meeting recap notes as required.
- Support with managegment of detailed project status and production timelines across Brand Experience & Events projects.
- Maintain the Global Brand Experience & Events Calendar and oversee monthly distribution.
- Maintain organization of Brand Experience internal digital share drives.
- Oversee departmental supply orders and maintain inventory of Brand Experience closet.
- Coordinate travel for external partners traveling on behalf of CK for events and, when necessary, liaises with corporate travel department to coordinate hotel blocks and payment approvals.
- Liaise with internal Facilities and IT departments for Brand Experience needs as required.
- Support departmental and event related invoice submission and Oversee tracking of payments to vendors.
- Support maintaining individual event budgets as required.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in brand communications, events / public relations or related field; experience in fashion industry preferred.
- Direct experience with events or experiential marketing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, trustworthy, organized, a team player and professional with a positive disposition.
- Knowledge of and an active interest in the global culture zeitgeist across various creative and industry verticals (fashion, music, film. art, tech, etc).
- Posess an understanding and interest in the brand and full range of product categories to convey Calvin Klein brand equities.
- Ability to multi-task across concurrent projects and with attention to detail and time management capabilities.
- Solution-oriented and resourceful.
- Able to adapt to the team culture and is passionate about becoming part of it.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Adobe Suite preferred
