Affinity Home Care is a boutique concierge agency providing in-home care services throughout New York City and Long Island!

We are hiring compassionate & dedicated CAREGIVERS & COMPANIONS to provide non-medical support to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)
  • Helping the client with bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Dressing and undressing the client.
  • Toileting and incontinence care.
  • Mobility Assistance (transferring, walking support)
  • Household Support
  • Light Housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying rooms)
  • Meal Preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Grocery shopping and errands.
  • Pet care (if needed)
  • Companionship
  • Engaging in conversation.
  • Participating in hobbies and activities.
  • Providing emotional support and social interaction.
  • Accompanying the client to appointments or outings.
  • Medication Reminders
  • Reminding (but not administering) medications according to schedule.
  • Safety and Supervision
  • Monitoring for safety hazards.
  • Helping prevent falls.
  • Ensuring a secure environment.
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Updating family members on the client’s well-being.
  • Reporting changes in health or behavior to supervisors or family.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a companion/caregiver (preferred)
  • Reliable Transportation
