Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Organize and send invoicing, billing statements, and
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and budgets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing.
- Provide support during financial audits and reviews.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Thorough understanding of business practices.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices and principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
