Job Summary

The Finance Leader – Distribution & Transportation will support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process as well as budgeting and forecasting cycles for the Service Centers in Victorville. He/she will additionally conduct financial analysis providing the necessary support through standardized reporting to the service centers and communication to the business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with service center operations leads to explain and interpret key drivers of monthly performance
• Coordinate, consolidate, and interpret service center productivity initiatives and follow up with operational leads as necessary
• Coordinate, consolidate, and interpret monthly actual variance analytics for service center operational activities and roll up results
• Coordinate, consolidate, and interpret the forecasts for service centers
• Consolidate, track, and report CAPEX forecasts for cash flow reporting
• Assist in the preparation of KPI metrics and analytics to ensure controls are functioning as designed
• Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data efficiency and quality
• Ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation (frequent)
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reporting decks for Ops Reviews, monthly reporting and others as required
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred
• 3 years of combined experience in finance/accounting related fields
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP/Hyperion is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-starter with the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and properly prioritize responsibilities. Must see routine tasks through to completion
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment dealing with many different departments
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, accuracy and overall quality of work as work involves summarizing and integrating information, checking details, verifying calculations, critical evaluation, and logical analysis of data
• Possess a thorough understanding of financial statements and relationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  
  

The California base pay range for this position is from $100,000 to $115,000. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
