This position offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processing, and employment compliance while working hands-on with our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

What You’ll Do
As our Benefits & Payroll Specialist, you'll play a key role in our HR shared services team. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processing, and employment compliance while working hands-on with our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
A Typical Day Might Include
- Supporting benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA and retirement plan rules
- Running accurate and timely payroll for multiple business entities
- Assisting with employee education by conducting new hire orientations on payroll and benefits, and helping team members better understand their benefit options
- Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, assisting with audits, reporting, and year-end tasks
- Managing HRIS updates, troubleshooting issues, and providing system training or support as needed
- Investigating and resolving payroll or benefits discrepancies
- Answering employee questions with professionalism and a focus on customer service
- Detail-Oriented Mindset: You’re known for your accuracy, follow-through, and ability to spot inconsistencies
- Work Ethic: You bring drive, dependability, and a strong sense of responsibility to your daily work
- Education & Experience: Associate’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of payroll and/or benefits administration experience
- Technology Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data entry and reconciliation
