As the Supply Chain Analyst, you play a crucial part in managing inventory and order files, collaborating with the lumber logistics team and various business units to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). With a robust analytical skillset, you will contribute to the group by assisting in analytics, controls, tracking, and ensuring cross-functional execution. Your commitment extends to delivering a professional level of customer service throughout Canfor’s organization, aiming to meet the high expectations of Canfor’s valued global customers.

The life of the Supply Chain Analyst includes:

  • Maintaining business processes relating to Available for Sale, Inventory Position, and Order Fulfillment.
  • Identifying areas for business process and system improvements and engage appropriate resources required to develop and implement solutions.
  • Maintaining and improve status, tracking and exception reports.
  • Providing analysis and concise summaries of key data to drive decision making for improved financial performance and customer service.
  • Key contributor to working capital reduction & margin improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.

For this role, come equipped with:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Supply Chain related experience.
  • Previous experience in the solid wood products industry would be an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and solid background working with modern office software and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
