Join Casey's Aviation team as a Corporate Pilot - Captain! The Captain has overall responsibility for the flight crew, passengers, cargo, and the safe conduct of the flights assigned. As a Captain, you'll serve as Pilot in Command (PIC), exercising final authority for, and responsibility of, the aircraft in support of Casey’s goals. The Captain reports to the Chief Pilot and all duties are to be performed in accordance with the flight department SOP’s, company policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations. The Captain alternates as PIC and SIC flying duties at the discretion of the Chief Pilot.
Key Responsibilities Include
Starting pay range: $125,000 - $150,000. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform PIC and SIC duties in compliance with aircraft limitations, Federal Aviation Regulations, flight manual procedures and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure preflight inspections are completed and all required documents are onboard before each flight.
- Maintain a safe and efficient culture within the workplace. Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
- Complete required annual training for company aircraft, other training assigned, and any required corporate training.
- File flight plans, ensure aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts are all within limits for each flight.
- Ensure aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of passengers, providing excellent customer service to passengers.
- Study weather conditions at departure, enroute, destination and alternate airports. Make decisions necessary to start, delay or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
- Work as a crew during flights to ensure the safe operation of the aircraft necessary for a smooth, safe, and efficient flight.
- Address passenger needs such as ground transportation, catering, and baggage.
- Ensure passenger manifests are correct before every departure.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least three years of aviation experience.
- FAA ATP Multi Engine rating, 3000 hrs. TT, 1000 hrs. TT Multi Engine. 100 hrs. PIC in Turbine powered aircraft. 500 hrs. Turbine powered aircraft.
- Must have a First or Second class medical.
- Restricted radio operators permit.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedure tracking systems and prior experience managing aircraft.
- Must be highly skilled in all areas of aircraft operations with current FAA certificates as required to operate company aircraft.
