JOB SUMMARY:
Utah Mammoth is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their Creative Team. Working under the direction of the Art Director, this position will be responsible for assisting in the development and creation of high-quality digital and print graphics across several brand touchpoints while adhering to brand guidelines. This position will be heavily involved in the Utah Mammoth’s Youth Hockey brand and work closely with the Youth team to elevate our various programs.
Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator, passionate, intuitive, hard-working, detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in the latest trends and practices in design. Must be comfortable working on multiple projects at once, working in a team setting, willing to receive feedback and offer up ideas. Candidates must provide a design portfolio for review.

- Create and develop visual and creative concepts based off the needs of the project under the guidance of the Art Director and Senior Designer
- Assist design team with daily tasks, creating digital and print-based graphics for Utah Mammoth, Youth Hockey, Delta Center, and their properties
- Continually develop design skills, actively ask questions, and strive to learn
- Collaborate in a team environment

- Other duties as assigned
- Preferred but not required: Graphic Design or equivalent degree
- Able to work full time at the office in Sandy, UT
- Able to support Social team during a number of Utah Mammoth games
- Web or PDF portfolio demonstrating strong and relevant graphic design skills
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work and communicate in a team environment
- Able to navigate quick turnarounds and short deadlines
- Able to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and challenge yourself
- Knowledge and passion for hockey is a bonus!
