Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead site operations with a focus on defined targets & objectives in safety, delivery, quality, cost, inventory and productivity in that order.
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
- Manage and develop GE exempt and hourly unionized workforce with a strong emphasis on strengthening relationships with customers and partnering on improvement activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive waste elimination through use of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.
- Evolve strategic plan for the site to continually raise the bar in safety, technology, automation and productivity.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years plant management distribution, logistics or related experience
- Minimum 3 years experience leading an hourly workforce (union or non-union)
- Six Sigma/ Lean experience a plus
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational integration and influencing skills
- Proven track record for meeting customer / business needs
- Executive level presentation skills
- Clear thinking and solid prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects/ projects
