Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of source data to understand its structure, quality, and relationships
• Extract data from various sources such as legacy systems, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Transform source data into formats compatible with SAP systems, applying necessary mappings, conversions, and validations
• Load transformed data into SAP systems using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring data integrity and adherence to defined standards
• Perform data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies
• Document data conversion processes, mappings, and procedures for future reference and auditing purposes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, business analysts, and IT professionals to ensure successful data conversion outcomes
• Investigate and troubleshoot data conversion issues, providing timely resolution and escalation as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in data conversion methodologies and tools
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong understanding of data management principles and techniques
• Strong Excel and working experience of PowerBI required
• Familiarity with SAP systems and data structures
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Data Services or other data integration tools
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA
• Understanding of SAP data migration best practices and methodologies
• Certification in SAP or related technologies is a plus
  
  

The salary range for this role is $57,500 to $72,500 or the hourly equivalent.
