- Must be local to Omaha, NE
- Performs complex and interpretive financial analysis for operations. Partners with plant operations and provides recommendations relating to periodic reporting of financial results, variance analysis and forecasts.
- Implements systems and processes to effectively and efficiently forecast, plan, and track manufacturing activity and costs.
- Monitor and manage distribution and logistics costs.
- Prepare monthly distribution spend reports and dashboards, highlighting deviations from budget and KPIs.
- Works closely with manufacturing to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform department(s) on cost divers and variances.
- Manage the reporting, analysis, and controllership of standards at the plant. including direct labor, Overhead costs as well as inventory costs.
- Lead monthly capital expense reporting. Includes spend tracking against budget and forecast.
- Maintain capital control process ensuring policy compliance, asset capitalization criteria, and timely closeout of completed projects.
- Analyze capital investment performance across capital categories.
- Supports the annual planning and forecasting process.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close. Review results to ensure they are booked properly and reconcile with forecast and cost rollup.
- Support yearly budgeting process
- Partner with Operations Team to drive and implement productivity projects that drive true efficiency and labor usage improvement.
- Lead the development of metrics, scorecards, and reporting for assigned functions.
- Participate in various finance wide-projects, projects will vary depending on business needs.
- Cross functional work between finance, supply chain, plant operations, and procurement to align financial goals

An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience.
- Experience in manufacturing/distribution cost accounting and fixed asset accounting.
