Job Summary
The Coordinator I supports the Center for Environmental Excellence (CEE) Workforce Manager in compiling, preparing, submitting, and tracking documentation related to CEE employee recruiting, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $48,000. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists the Workforce Manager with coordination of new hire processing and onboarding activities, including criminal background requests, asset distribution, new employee orientation, completion of required forms and training, and updating information in electronic systems.
- Updates and maintains and electronic and physical tracking systems; drafts or updates procedures, forms, databases, templates, organizational charts, new hire materials and other departmental documents; coordinates talent acquisition activities; completes special projects.
- Drafts and distributes communications to employees on behalf of management about updates to processes, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Maintains contact with employees in person or via Microsoft Teams and phone to ensure needs are being met.
- Communicates with other departments as delegated to resolve issues.
- Coordinates employee offboarding processing and activities with Workforce Manager and CEE Administrative Assistant, including return of assets and completion of required clearance and termination forms for departing employees.
- Monitors deadlines for employee performance evaluations; prepares feedback surveys; tracks and compiles feedback; coordinates with CEE management team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, business or relevant discipline from an accredited college or university.
- One (1) year experience in project management or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.
- Master’s degree in business, or a related field.
- Two (2) or more years of professional experience processing and handling confidential data such as legal, human resources, and/or payroll documents.
- Experience interacting professionally with internal and external customers.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams; databases and data entry.
- Ability to learn and implement appropriately UTA rules, regulations and procedures.
- Adheres to institutional paper and electronic file management requirements.
- Skill in organization; attention to details; reviewing and analyzing records; determining proper courses of action; and managing time and assignments to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients, customers, coworkers to gather information and/or explain policies and procedures.
- Integrate complex concepts, procedures, and processes.
- Exercise independent judgement and initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to complete all physical tasks as needed.
