We are seeking to fill the position of AP Analyst. This is an in-person, exempt, full-time position located at our Headquarters in Jacksonville, FL, and reports to the VP of Accounting.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Processing of Accounts Payable invoices, including performing a 3-way match of invoices, purchase orders, and delivery receipts.
• Creation and processing of payment runs.
• Reconciliation of vendor statements, troubleshooting invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Managing month-end closing of AP, including preparation and posting of accruals.
• Maintaining accurate and organized Accounts Payable records.
• Responding timely to vendor inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
• Payroll processing when necessary.
• Continuous improvement of AP process and systems.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable and payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of federal and state wage and tax laws, FLSA, and overtime regulations.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters and employment verifications.
• Highly detailed and self-motivated; organized and energetic team player.
• Great communication skills, oral and written.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and process a high volume of invoices.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or similar ERP software.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks, determine priorities as tasks arise, and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Critical thinker with problem solving skills.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in similar role.
  
  

PhysicalRequirements

In person work environment is indoors, in a clean, well-lighted office that is temperature controlled.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role, with specific experience in full-cycle AP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP Systems.
• Sound organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
