Summary
The Senior Manager of Distribution will be responsible for providing inspiration, coaching, and support to staff within the Distribution Center. In this role, the Senior Manager of Distribution will be responsible for leading and managing the warehouse by implementing departmental objectives that meet the company’s strategic, competitive, and internal needs while ensuring exceptional guest experience. The Senior Manager of Distribution will also drive Safety & Compliance and ensure the company’s policies and procedures are adhered to inside the DC. The Senior Manager will have Distribution managers reporting to them as well as all other staff in Distribution.

The Senior Manager will have Distribution managers reporting to them as well as all other staff in Distribution.
Primary Job Functions
- Manages the work of direct reports, including hiring, evaluating training, performance management, motivating, coaching, and developing goals and procedures to ensure the achievement of goals.
- Assist in preparing the annual operating budget and managing variance through financial statement analysis.
- Provide cost control of all expenses, to include labor, supplies, maintenance, and utilities.
- Optimize the flow of products through the Distribution Center.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the facilities and equipment to maintain warehouse productivity, safety, and efficiency.
- Ensure clear communication between the warehouse and other operating departments, including store partnerships.
- Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous approvement within the DC.
- Demonstrate the company’s values in all aspects of their work performance.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address.

Education:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Post-Secondary education preferred.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
- 3-5 years of previous management experience in a distribution-oriented environment.
- Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to build high performing work teams.
- Direct and motivate subordinates in a dynamic work environment. Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs.

- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Periodic travel for DC Support and Meetings
- On-call 24/7 for emergencies.
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required.
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
