Would you like to join Disney’s Direct to Consumer Retail team and support the Disney Store North America Retail team in social shopping and marketplaces? As a Social Commerce and Marketplace Associate, you will be responsible for operational elements related to the overall TikTok and marketplace product assortment, assisting in curating a unique product selection for the site, and supporting ongoing item maintenance to achieve sales targets and ensure a positive customer experience.

You will report to the Marketplace Operations Manager

This role is a 1-year Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do:


  • Partner with Manager and cross-functional partners to drive the partner platform businesses by managing day-to-day tasks around assortment creation, product availability, & sales/inventory reporting
  • Manage key milestone calendar, ensuring requirements are met to support the delivery of our merchandise strategy to platforms, and on-time assortment upload for launch dates
  • Analyze sales to understand opportunities by franchise/category to drive productivity and efficiencies of SKUs
  • Partner with Buying, Merchandise Planning, and Sourcing teams to support the assortment and strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on product launches or promotions.
  • Build and maintain quarterly assortment plans
  • Monitor and action on both Amazon and TikTok Seller Support issues, customer feedback/comments, and returns
  • Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings to drive the business forward
  • Manage day-to-day tasks including item upload, catalogue refinement, item maintenance, troubleshooting stranded inventory, shipping process, and pricing


Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • 2+ years of experience with an e-commerce or specialty retailer in a product support role is desired
  • TikTok Shop commerce experience
  • Amazon seller experience
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience conducting analysis (sales & inventory analysis)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively work within a cross-functional team
  • High level of computer competency with a focus on Excel
  • Positive attitude, high motivation, curiosity, and a team player


Required Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field or 2+ years of equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $78,200.00 to $104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
