This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Team at UtiliQuest, LLC as an Administrative Assistant working in our local office. UtiliQuest, LLC a leading provider of quality underground utility damage prevention for over three decades. Meet the team

Our Operations Team plays a critical role in supporting our clients and community in safekeeping infrastructure in residential and commercial construction areas. As a result, we hold ourselves to high standards and expectations in damage prevention. It is key that you are a self-motivated professional with strong work ethic, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills, and are ready to add value to our team on day one. You will be the point of contact supporting Center Operations and Field Technicians.

The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Operations Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, while supporting the Team with various duties. You will play an active part in the daily operations of the Center and support our business objectives.

What You’ll Do…

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • The ability to prioritize and assign work within commitment dates and times.
  • Be able to quickly analyze a situation and develop a solution while working within the team to meet goals.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results to make decisions based on available information.
  • The ability to work within Excel and Google based Docs, create scheduling calendars and ticket tracking solutions.
  • Answers customer calls to ensure satisfactory performance of service.
  • Provides administrative support
  • Responsible for the overall completeness and accuracy of all employment data entries
  • Processes any onboarding paperwork for new hires and completes I9 verification.
  • Composes and files routine correspondence.
  • Assists with ordering office supplies. Assists with general office duties, as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For…

Required skills for success:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Six (6) months of experience in an administrative role or related experience required.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to project professionalism in client and employee interactions
  • Ability to learn new systems and software related to the role
  • Strong understanding of Google and Office Suites

$20 to $24 per hour
