Procurement Strategy Managers
(PSM) are key to designing proper direction for our portfolio, including market trends transparency, innovation, risk management and relationship management. As PSM you will:
- Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluation, and monitor trends to identify price opportunities for your portfolio.
- Own category strategy development, including supplier segmentation, budgeting, forecasting, and business case creation, focusing on supply security and cost competitiveness.
- Leading the implementation of procurement strategies by providing market intelligence, setting negotiation targets, and managing supplier relationships and development actions
- Regularly coordinating with Technical Managers on material development and supplier improvement process
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities, including assessing supplier risks and developing contingency plans
- Continuously enhancing expertise through research, training, and conference participation
- Collaborating effectively with the global team and international stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned categories
- Staying ahead of industry trends and representing the company at trade shows and innovation events, focusing on finding sustainable solutions
- Collaborating with the entire procurement team and internal partners on projects with value chain know-how
- Ability to conduct market analysis, evaluate suppliers, and monitor trends to identify price opportunities for the portfolio
- Experience in developing category strategies, including supplier segmentation, budgeting, forecasting, and business case creation, with a focus on supply security and cost competitiveness
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Solid knowledge in sourcing markets related to indirect categories or similar experiences
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Decision-making ability as well as flexibility to adapt quickly to changes
- Strong communication skills in English
- Self-motivation and outstanding team spirit to develop our procurement team to the next level
