Southeastern Oral Surgery and Dental Implants is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Scheduling Assistant to join our dedicated team in Dothan, Alabama. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the oral surgeon’s schedule with accuracy and efficiency.
• Master our scheduling software and maintain the integrity of the appointment system.
• Answer incoming calls and return voicemails promptly with professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Administer and respond to communications via email.
• Coordinate with referring offices to gather necessary information for upcoming appointments.
• Welcome patients with warmth and ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the system.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and internal practice policies at all times.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a dental or oral surgery office is preferred.
• Working knowledge of dental and oral surgery terminology is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, patient-focused demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of the daily schedule.
• Basic proficiency with computers and office software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
