As a senior member of the OptumRx CPS Outpatient Finance team, this position will report to the Sr Director of Finance and play a key role as the financial advisor and strategic partner to the business Executive and Senior Vice Presidents.

Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the review and renegotiation of site contracts. Provide financial insight and recommendations to operational management on contractual issues and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Build solid working relationships with key customer stakeholders (Hospital Admin, Hospital CFO and team, DOPs/HSD) to optimize financial results. Gain buy-in and credibility for desired financial outcomes through timely and accountable actions. Deliver a high level of customer service to external clients
- Manage and conduct financial analysis for all client requests (i.e. Expansion ROI, regulatory impacts, etc.)
- Develop and maintain operational KPIs to track business performance, inform future forecasts, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested by Sr. Finance leadership. Perform quality assurance and testing on new application development or enhancements
- Be responsive to concerns or requests of other CPS employees, Hospital staff, and clients
- Maintain employee and patient confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant, high-impact financial experience
- Experience communicating complex thoughts in a clear, concise, and timely manner both in written and oral form
- Data and analytics as a core competency
- Ability to work independently with key business executives (Finance, Operations, Sales, Payer, etc.) to evaluate business processes and key drivers of operational and business performance
- Ability to anticipate issues, assess implications and implement appropriate action plans
- Ability to lead conversations with executive team members to discuss performance results, promote engagement and drive results
- Demonstrated combination of creativity and discipline applied to execution of scalable new growth initiatives
- Solid analytics background and attention to details
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization and with cross-functional partners
