Position
We are looking for a part time Psychological Associate to join our dynamic multidisciplinary treatment team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, ABA therapists, and psychologists treating adults and children. The Testing Psychology Associate's primary role is evaluating and diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder and other behavioral health disorders in children and adolescents and providing insights into their adaptive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The associate will work closely with their supervisor (a licensed clinical psychologist) and be provided training in psych diagnostic assessment, child development, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health diagnoses, Multidisciplinary/Collaborative approaches, Multicultural and Community Psychology, and appropriate referrals and interventions.
As a Psychological Associate for Ensemble Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

Additionally, physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field of vision.

As a Psychological Associate for Ensemble Therapy, your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct neurodevelopmental assessments, including comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, psychological diagnostic evaluations, and psych diagnostic interviews (intakes).
- Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological tests and assessment tools to gather relevant information about clients' psychological functioning, including the gold standard diagnostic tool ADOS 2, overall measure for adaptive functioning (ABAS 3), and other behavioral and psycho-emotional measures.
- Collaborate closely with other professionals (e.g., SLP's, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, etc.) to integrate assessment results into treatment plans and recommendations.
- Utilize clinical interviews, standardized assessment tools, observations, and historical data to gather pertinent information for accurate diagnoses.
- Generate thorough and well-organized assessment reports, highlighting assessment findings, diagnoses, and tailored recommendations.
- Communicate assessment results effectively to clients, families, caregivers, and other involved professionals in a clear and empathetic manner, including psychoeducation about Autism, ADHD, and other behavioral health diagnoses, while also providing information about parenting skills and specific supports/accommodations in the home/community/school environments.
- Provide consultation and guidance to colleagues on autism, behavioral health, parent training, linguistic/cultural, and assessment-related matters.
- Develop and showcase in-service presentations to staff related to professional development, work life balance, and clinical matters.
- Doctorate in psychology from an accredited psychology program.
- Current registration as a California Psychological Assistant from Board of Psychology.
- Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity, etc.)
- Be highly flexible and agile (we are living and working in a very dynamic time right now).
- Be highly collaborative, team-oriented and customer service driven
