Role Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities to support activities for an emerging simulation and training capability for the United States Army.
  • The candidate will support test and evaluation activities to include development of test procedures, supporting the execution of test and evaluation events, create/conduct new equipment training, perform hardware and software analysis, and troubleshoot across complex military systems.
  • Essential Job Functions: Candidates will support the design, creation and execution of hardware/software test cases, scenarios, and procedures that incorporates the use of a variety of software applications and tools.
  • Assists in defining integration and testing processes and procedures. Performs unit testing, configuration item and system level tests, and supports verification/validation testing as required.
  • Develops test plans and test reports for all levels of testing performed.
  • Works closely with the leads, development staff and systems engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and hardware/software implementation.
  • Works closely with leadership to identify and define testing strategies and plan resources to ensure adequate assets are in place for all testing activities.
  • Analyzes test results, metrics and trends and provides feedback to development and systems engineers.
  • Assist the product support team in the creation and maintenance of system training documentation, as well as the conduct of new equipment training. Basic Requirements:
  • Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry, Combat Engineer or Special Operations officer, warrant officer, or NCO with experience leading a team, squad, platoon or company.
  • Experience as a military instructor. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional relevant experience preferred.
  • Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Translate technical objectives into user level requirements and training/Human Factor related criteria.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Squad/Platoon/Company level tactical and leadership experience on required platform. Desired Qualification:
  • Knowledge or expertise in any of the following military weapon systems and concepts
  • would be considered a plus:
  • M1126 Stryker
  • M1151 HMMWV
  • M1A2 V2 Abrams
  • M2A3 Bradley
  • M1278 JLTV
  • Infantry / Dismounted Operations
  • Aviation – Non-Rated Crew Operatio

Requirements
