This is a vital support position within our skilled nursing facility, requiring efficiency, discretion, and compassion in working with our residents and clinical staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical and clinical records in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stocking and distribution.
- Perform inventory cost management and ensure charges are properly assigned to end users.
- Provide back-up assistance to the transportation clerk as needed, which may include resident scheduling and coordination.
- Support daily facility operations with a focus on resident care and safety.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with medical records and/or supply chain management.
- Clerical and inventory management experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with a wide range of medical supplies and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with PointClickCare is a plus.
- High level of attention to detail and mathematical ability.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
- CNA certification is a plus.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and criminal history background check.
- Valid driver’s license required.
