Company Description: Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Waterbury, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Cook. Come join our team!
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food Services.
Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
Review care plans to assure that current dietary information is consistent with foods served.
Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.

Requirements:
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education. Must have “Serve Safe of Sanitation” certification.
Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
