Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and maintenance of care for residents.
- Be accountable for the planning and coordination of resident care, employee development, and continued quality improvement in our licensed care neighborhood.
- Act as a liaison between residents, nurses, families, and appropriate healthcare resources to coordinate the highest level of care for each resident.
- Own employee recruitment and development within the health services team.
- Be responsible for the budget, profitability, and quality improvement of the health services neighborhood.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Provide direct care to residents during clinical outbreaks (e.g., flu, norovirus, or other diseases, including pandemic situations) as necessary.
- Full-time on-site presence to ensure operational excellence and resident care.is required.
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- 2 years of experience as a Department Manager in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing Facility (required).
- Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Must be willing to work the floor alongside caregivers as necessary.
- Resilience and strong leadership skills to inspire and guide others.
- Ability to have tough conversations with respect and confidence.
- Deep passion for seniors and a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrate leadership ability and capability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Possess qualities of leadership, responsibility, time management, compassion, and patience.
- Ability to observe resident behavior and communicate in an intelligent and professional manner.
- Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.

- Starting salary of $65,000
