Description

MedMan (Medical Management, Inc.) is in search of an experienced, ambitious healthcare professional looking for a challenging and rewarding full-time opportunity as the Administrator for Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates (BFOA).

BFOA is a physician-owned medical group that has been serving the Tri-Cities area for over 30 years. Comprised of five physicians, a podiatrist, physician assistant, physical therapy, and an occupational therapist and with two locations, two in Kennewick and one in Pasco and a surgery center. As the Administrator, you would work closely with the physician owners and be responsible for providing strategy and the oversight in all administrative functions of the practice. Proven experience working in a physician-owned practice, building relationships with external medical facility partners, and possess strong organizational leadership ability required. The successful candidate will be a highly effective leader with a strong understanding of operations and financial management. Advanced verbal, written and strong interpersonal skills are a must along with staff supervision experience. Excellent follow-through and a visible, collaborative management style are important.

The communities of Kennewick, Pasco and Richland comprise the Tri-Cities area of southeast Washington with a population of approximately 250,000 people, located on the banks of the Columbia River. With four seasons, moderate temperatures and over 300 days of sunshine annually, the Tri-Cities are a recreational paradise to include fishing, water sports, golf and easy access to mountain activities. The Tri-Cities area is also home to over 300 wineries. The Tri-Cities are within a 2-to-4-hour drive of major Northwest cities of Spokane, Seattle, and Portland.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years' demonstrated healthcare management experience; experience in an independent medical practice preferred.
  • Proven track record in operational and financial management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
