What you will do:
The Plant Administrative Coordinator serves as the Boardman director/manager support assistant, performing a wide variety of skilled office tasks, planning, projects, communication, and procedures for all departments. This position leads the activities of all the other assistants and support staff (i.e. receptionist, maintenance system specialist) to ensure coordinated activities across departments. This person needs the ability to accomplish multiple tasks by prioritizing the order of importance and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. This position will manage projects focusing on establishing efficient business process across departments and functions. The Administrative Assistant assists with the financial department in various functions.

Here’s a day in life:
- Provides full range administrative support to numerous Directors and Managers in professional office setting
- Provide assistance with plant communication strategies including distributing information, collect and summarize feedback, creating reports and newsletters
- Leads the Boardman Administrative Staff with current priorities as needed, including sharing, maintaining, and gathering feedback on overall administrative priorities to ensure coordination among departments
- Implements and manages projects that create and implements business processes designed to improve communication, business functionality, and overall efficiencies across departments
- Works with the finance department to fill any gaps such as entering manifests, component reconciliation, and other data input
- Completes Basic Office Duties: filing, note taking, scanning, drafting documents, photocopying, taking messages, calendaring
- Meeting Ownership: Logistics, Agendas, Minutes, Refreshments, Room Preparation (Service Style)
- Support the Safety and CI activities
- Office Equipment Issue Liaison: ensure office equipment is maintained and operational; coordinating with support services as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Works as a liaison between the community and the company in managing donation requests for CRP/CRT
- Acts as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, co-op members and the general public.
- Demonstrates good communication, listening, and inter-personal skills; ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Utilize a computer with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of experience in general office administration or as an office manager while handling confidential information.
- Must be computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams is a plus.
