Nurse Practitioner - NP – Outpatient Behavioral Health – Days

Transform your career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. In this position, you will be responsible for psychiatric assessment of adults with behavioral health disorders in our brand new, integrated outpatient behavioral health practice. You will work with a dynamic team of behavioral health and primary care professionals to provide high quality, compassionate care in an outpatient setting.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position located at 343 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn.

Preferred Criteria:

• PMH NP with at least 2 years of experience
• Previous RN or NP experience in Behavioral Health

Required Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Advanced Practice
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• Board Certification as PMH NP Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and triage skills
