Lead Warehouse Associate - #1337322

At Five Star Breaktime Solutions the Lead Warehouse Associate is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role involves overseeing inventory management, receiving and shipping processes, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The Lead Warehouse Associate also assists in training new employees and implementing best practices to optimize warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Assign tasks and prioritize work to ensure timely completion of orders and tasks.
• Train new warehouse staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect equipment and tools regularly and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipping or receiving process.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to fulfill orders and address customer inquiries.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.

Position Information:

• Status: Full-Time
• Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00/hr
• Work Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm or until production is complete
• Work Days: Sunday-Thursday.
