HOW A JR SOFTWARE ENVIRONMENT ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Incrementally build functionality for DevSecOps product verticals
• Participate in sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events
• Track and communicate oval progress against assigned user stories
• Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs
• Assist with internal and external communication
• Provide complexity estimates through story selection and task definition
• Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation

Required Skills:

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience
• Experience working in dynamic team-based environment
• Understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g. Javscript, Python)
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with web-based Knowledge Management and workflow tools
• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start and eligibility to obtain a CI Poly

Desired Skills and Certifications:

• 2+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community
• Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically, JIRA and Confluence
• Sec+ certification or ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire
