Requirements

  • Support research strategy and lead research only projects as part of professional development.
  • Lead survey instrument development and revision cycles in collaboration with the AVP/Director of Research, Strategy, Accounts, and any other related service area leads.
  • Build quantitative research reports, which includes building report outlines, identifying and creating the best data visualizations to and reports using quantitative survey data, building PowerPoint presentations with relevant introduction, and closing information, pulling key research insights, and collaborating with Accounts and Strategy on next steps and recommendations.
  • Lead qualitative instrument development and revision cycles, which includes reviewing available background materials and discovery, developing moderator/IDI guides that adhere to research best practices and agency guidelines, managing internal and client review cycles, and prepping interviewers/moderators for data collection.
  • Mentor junior team members in their professional development, which includes supporting onboarding and training of incoming team members and training/guidance for junior team members.
  • Work strategically with area leads and producers to ensure that clients’ goals, objectives, and concerns are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in social sciences or marketing research, analyzing survey data. Higher education industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentation skills with the ability to explain research to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented working style.
  • Experience with SPSS, including the ability to run frequencies/means, crosstabs, t-tests, and ANOVAs.
  • Experience building data visualizations in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in quantitative survey questionnaire design and knowledge of survey design best practices
  • Ability to adapt and manage change. Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate deviations and changes when appropriate.
  • Comfortable collaborating with remote project teams nationwide.

Salary, Perks & Benefits

Salary starts at $65,000.00 and will be commensurate with experience.
