Software Engineering Interns at First Databank will have the opportunity to gain experience and demonstrate aptitude across a variety of real world projects. Interns typically rotate between three or more projects during their time at FDB, where each project requires skill in a different area.

Responsibilities

Typical projects may include work in the following areas:

  • Web Development
  • Mobile Development
  • Web API development
  • SDK development
  • Desktop Application Development
  • Cloud Infrastructure Automation, AWS and Azure
  • Database Development, both RDMS and NoSQL
  • Data Science / Business Intelligence
  • Trouble Shooting / Bug Fixes / Unit Testing
  • Opportunity to utilize AI agents

Requirements

  • Computer Science or Software Engineer Major
  • Completion of Junior year
  • Minimum GPA – 3.4

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in Indianapolis, IN. The reasonable estimate, $22/hr.
