About The Team And The Role

As a Social Media Associate, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of eBay’s core social handles, focusing on content creation, influencer partnerships, and ensuring the execution of critical initiatives. You’ll be integral in implementing and measuring social strategies, contributing to the growth of our online presence and engagement.

Reporting to the US Horizontal Social Own your work will directly influence the efficiency of our social media efforts and help propel eBay’s mission to connect people with the tools they need to succeed. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on eBay’s digital presence while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

What You Will Accomplish

• Drive the daily management and growth of eBay’s core social media handles, growing engagement and community of buyers and sellers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement integrated social media strategies that amplify eBay’s brand voice and values.
• Contribute to the development of data-driven content strategies, helping to elevate social performance through insightful metrics and continuous optimization.
• Establish and maintain strong influencer partnerships, elevating eBay's presence and creating authentic connections with target audiences.
• Support the measurement and reporting of key social media metrics, influencing decision-making and shaping future social strategies for the team
• Gain hands-on experience in social media strategy and analytics, with opportunities for growth in content creation, influencer marketing, and performance measurement.

• 3-4 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing engagement and managing a major brand’s social channels.
• Proficiency with social media management tools, such as Sprinklr, and familiarity with analytics platforms to track and report on social performance.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and creative) to complete integrated strategies and get results.
• Data-driven attitude, with experience using metrics and insights to optimize content and improve engagement across platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to new social trends.
  
  
  

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$60,000 - $101,500

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
