POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with the Director of Compliance to plan, organize, and execute quality assurance projects in managing an independent workload. This role will have a specialization in project management.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Maintains and manages an independent workload in the Compliance Department
- Assists in managing projects including M-Files projects
- Develops and implements process improvements
- Oversees and documents assigned quality assurance projects
- Oversees and documents activities of assigned quality assurance committees
- Maintains and updates physical and electronic contract files and associated documents
- Maintains and updates policies and procedures
- Assists with various applications, readiness reviews, audits, and other outside requests for current and new contracts
- Performs investigations into compliance matters
- Administrative and clerical support for implementation of new contracts
- Review of new and existing contracts for quality elements
- Assisting in analyzing annual agency and participant surveys
- Contributions to development and implementation of quality assurance goals
- Conducts investigations into compliance issues
- Analysis of current operations, data, and files for compliance with contracts, business rules, and legal matters
- Assists in the planning of quality assurance and compliance training and presentations
- Drafts compliance documents and forms
- Prepares materials that promote and communicate quality assurance and compliance internally and externally
- Assists staff with questions regarding quality assurance and compliance
- Develops and maintains quality assurance and compliance spreadsheets
- Assists in maintaining compliance with CARF accreditation standards by tracking, completing, and documenting conformance with the standards
- Maintains strict adherence to confidentiality and other applicable legal and contract requirements
- Upholds company values and mission
- Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma/GED
Associate degree preferred
Experience And Qualifications
- 3 years of experience relevant to the work performed
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, excel, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Multitasking and meeting deadlines
- Planning and organizing
- Experience with drafting letters, forms and email communications
- Analysis and problem solving
- Project planning

- Ability to work well with others and conduct written and oral communication with diverse populations
