The World Wide Amazon Stores Recruiting Team within Amazon.com is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator (RC) to join our team! The RC is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Amazon. This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidates
  • Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires
  • Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  • Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a weekly report
  • Coordinating the post-interview debrief meetings and providing debrief materials
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed

A day in the life

The Recruitment Coordinator manages all interview logistics, including scheduling phone screens and onsite interviews for candidates. They work closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to coordinate interview schedules and ensure a smooth interview process for potential new team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of recruiting, coordination, administration, logistics, HR or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with basic web-based tools and products like Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in HR or any related field
  • Experience working in a fast paced, quickly changing or international environment
  • Experience with technical tracking systems / softwares (like ATS)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $85,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
