Crafco, Inc. has an opening for an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist at our corporate headquarters in Chandler, AZ.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time Monday - Friday position, reporting directly to the Vice President/Assistant Secretary in our corporate office, with great hours, employee appreciation perks, and much more. The AP Specialist is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, check requests, and employee expense reports in a timely manner and in compliance with the vendor and company terms.

Essential Duties Of The Accounts Payable Specialist

• Receive, process, verify and reconcile vendor invoices for payment
• Analyze invoices and ensure the proper general ledger account
• Audit and process employee expense reports
• Maintain employee files in the expense reporting system
• Process vendor invoices for inventory transactions ensuring they are properly received, matched, and coded to the correct account in a timely manner to ensure correct payment
• Maintain and frequently examine unpaid invoice files as well as open purchase orders files
• Review paid and unpaid invoices to clear payment inquiries
• Perform weekly check & ACH runs.
  
  

Qualifications For The Accounting Specialist

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of general accounting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP and AP Automation is preferable
• Strong analytical skills
