- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates organizational development programs to advance the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Samaritan Health Services (SHS). Employs evidence-based initiatives, tools, and theories to deliver training with a focus on system-wide leadership development, teambuilding, patient experience, and customer service. Develops and implements training strategies and organizational development practices to support system goals across all levels of SHS. Utilizes principles of adult learning to ensure successful classroom and e-learning instruction, orientation of new employees, building of teams, and coaching and mentoring to improve performance.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- The HR Employee Relations team at Samaritan Health Services provides a professional, fair and knowledgeable approach to supporting employees and management. The team provides guidance in employee relations, interpretation of policies, procedures, and contract language, as well as facilitation of ADAAA accommodations. The Employee Relations team works hand-in-hand with other specialized HR teams to provide excellent service to customers.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, business administration, education, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience and/or training in conception, design, and implementation of organizational development and training programs required.
- Experience and/or training conducting, developing and presenting training programs required.
- Experience and/or training in the following preferred:
- Healthcare.
- Leadership training.
- LEAN principles.
- Project management.
- Internal consultation and coaching.
- Change management.
- E-learning technologies.
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
