Job Description

Job Summary

The role, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, is a critical member of the Strategy team, which supports senior executives in creating corporate, business unit, and local strategies as well as driving key strategic initiatives to transform the Company.

Job Duties

  • Develops enterprise and domain-specific strategies to drive growth, compliance, and performance improvement within current business units
  • Leads high-priority projects to unlock growth opportunities and transform Molina’s operating model
  • Conducts rigorous analysis to support market opportunity, membership, and financial forecasting
  • Stays abreast of healthcare trends and generates national and local market insights
  • Provides extensive support and collaboration with the Company's executive leadership team

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION :

Masters Degree or other advanced degree.

Required Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • At least 3+ years of experience in strategic management consulting or investment banking with prior managed healthcare experience
  • Understanding of the drivers and strategies across functions in managed care organizations (MCOs) as well as broad knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Strategy experience and ability to frame strategic challenges with research and synthesis and draw out solutions and create action plans
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Intellectual agility and ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively collaborate with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders
  • Strong quantitative aptitude, analytical capabilities, problem solving skills and commercial acumen

Preferred Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • At least 10 years of demonstrated experience aligned to job duties

Pay Range: $107,028 - $250,446 / ANNUAL
