The Role You’ll Contribute
The Senior Regional Manager provides leadership and vision in support of the regional recruitment function for AdventHealth facilities. This individual manages a team of Managers, Supervisors and Recruiters focused on attracting quality candidates. Works closely with staff in sharing best practices, providing assistance on critical needs, and coordinating regional-level initiatives. Employees are hired to help AdventHealth extend the healing ministry of Christ. They are expected to exhibit a continuous behavior of professionalism, which includes but is not limited to, treating customers and co-workers with respect and dignity, aligning behavior with customer service principles, maintaining customer and patient confidentiality, abiding by employee guidelines for professional behavior, appearance, and communication, exhibiting teamwork behaviors, being effective in conflict resolution, helping others to understand issues and accept changes, demonstrating high standards of work performance and flexibility, maintaining positive interdepartmental relationships, keeping a positive attitude, and adhering to the policies and procedures of the organization.

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Partners with Regional TA leadership and the Talent Strategy team to develop regional recruitment, sourcing, and marketing strategies.
- Assists regional facilities with retirement risk analysis and development of innovative programs to assure continuity of the workforce.
- Uses external scan tools to understand the market and provide education to facility leaders on labor market conditions along with recommendations for programs and practices.
- Develops and maintains effective partnerships with facility HRBP’s to understand business and recruiting needs and establish effective recruiting strategies
- Develops process improvement plans to enhance the region and partners on nationwide implementations. Executes planned improvements and sustains gains.
- Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Director in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing recruitment processes, programs, and functions.
- Develops, implements, and manages an effective forecasting model to move to just in time recruiting strategies.
- Networks through industry contacts, associations, trade groups, and employees to develop relationships and pipelines.
- Leads recruiting team and assures team is held accountable to SLA’s.
- Partners with Regional Managers and International Recruiting Manager to meet annual recruiting targets in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Partners with HR leaders and HR Shared Services to foster a team environment promoting open communication.
- Analyzes and reports on recruiting metrics; develops plans to assure service level agreements and productivity targets are met. Maintains capacity plan.
- Develops and presents regular reports to each facility to include metrics such as SLA’s, hiring outcomes, turnover, employee demographic shifts, labor market changes, results of recruitment strategy and recommendations for counter measures.
- Monitors changing government regulations to ensure documentation, interview, and selection techniques are in compliance with organization policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains a broad knowledge of company policies and benefit plans.
- Coaches, mentors, train and sets performance goals for TA employees with a goal to maximize talent. Manages hires, terminations, corrective action and performance reviews. Maintains a sufficiently staff, highly engaged team.
Education And Experience Required
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's in Business, Human Resources or a relevant field
- 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a healthcare environment
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in applicant tracking system, preferably Taleo
- Experience with social networking and internet vehicles and tools, such as e-mail, search engines, social media, blogs, job boards, and job postings
- Experience with human resource information systems
- Certification in Talent Acquisition through HCI, NAHCR, RACR
- HR Certification through HCI or SHRM
