Job Summary

Coordinates all credit activity and assists in other administrative functions for the company.

Interacts closely with internal and external teams on a daily basis.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Completes all customer credit inquiries.
  • Responsible for collection of past due accounts.
  • Sends letters and runs credit checks for all new customers for the company.
  • Informs Accounting Manager/Sales team of problem accounts or past due accounts.
  • Posts payments to customer accounts.
  • Enters approved adjustments/credits.
  • Prints and mails customer statements.
  • Prints month end and weekly aging reports for Dynamics AX.
  • Acts as the backup to the Accounts Payable Administrator.
  • Assists other members of the finance team with miscellaneous job duties as needed.
  • Comfort with communicating with people within the company and outside vendors/customers
  • Maintain process documentation for assigned job duties.

Education/Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or 5 years of equivalent experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience using an ERP system; Dynamics AX experience a plus- with solid examples of process or systems improvement


Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs. unassisted.
